Randstad, in partnership with their client, a leading Federal Government Contractor, is seeking a Capture Management Assistant to provide vital support to their Capture Management team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to securing new contracts with government clients, working closely with experienced professionals and gaining valuable insight into the world of government contracting.
This is a part-time, long term contract opportunity, with the potential to convert to a permanent employee role with our client. We are looking for someone who can dedicate 20-30 hours per week. While this position is remote, candidates in Pensacola, FL, or Madison, MS, are ideal. Pay rate is $45-53/hr DOE.
What You'll Do:
In this critical support role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's capture efforts. You'll work closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and other senior staff, handling a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to keep projects on track. Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative & Coordination Support:
- Job Postings & Candidate Coordination: Manage job postings, collaborate with HR to ensure accuracy, conduct initial reviews of candidate qualifications, and coordinate with candidates for resume inclusion in proposals.
- Meeting & Presentation Support: Coordinate attendees for gate briefs, strategy meetings, and reviews, take accurate notes, and assist in developing data and slides for presentations.
- Contractual Documentation: Assist with Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreement (TA) development, Subcontractor Statements of Work (SSOW), and sole source justification documentation, coordinating and processing these through internal channels.
- Consultant Engagement: Lead the process for engaging consultant support across the Growth Team, working with internal procurement, Capture and Proposal Managers, and consultants.
- Senior Staff Communication: Facilitate communication with senior corporate leadership through meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- General Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support as needed to the Capture and Proposal Teams, including requesting data from internal leads and teaming partners.
Capture Process Support:
- Opportunity Research: Support Capture Managers in researching potential business opportunities, assessing viability, and aligning them with company goals.
- Market Analysis: Assist in conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and key buying criteria.
- Strategy Development: Help develop comprehensive win strategies by outlining key differentiators and value propositions.
- Planning & Execution: Support the creation of detailed capture plans, including timelines, roles, responsibilities, and resource allocation.
- Proposal Oversight: Assist in ensuring proposals align with the win strategy, are compelling, and effectively communicate our client's capabilities.
- Competitive Intelligence: Help assess competitor strategies to identify potential weaknesses and gain a competitive advantage.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and a basic understanding of government contracting.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in capture management and analysis for a government contractor. Other relevant experience may be considered.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Dynamics (CRM), and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Government Contracting Knowledge: Basic understanding of government procurement, Federal government contracts, regulations, and procedures.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Capture Training: Experience with Shipley capture process training is highly desired.
