Your Impact

From day one, you will be part of a global team that helps develop innovative solutions for our clients, as well as contribute to the continuous development of our knowledge infrastructure within the industrial & electronics domain.Your work will range from short-term information gathering to long-term project support.You will get access to a variety of industry-specific sources and global network of experts. You will analyze the positioning and competitiveness of our clients, evaluate key financial figures, technology and product strategies, and define market sizes and fields of application.You will also receive coaching and professional development opportunities. In addition to mentoring from experienced colleagues, you will also receive high-quality internal training sessions.You will be part of McKinsey's Advanced Industries practice based in Boston. As a member of Capabilities & Insights team, you will collaborate with our global consultants to conduct research and analysis on companies and trends in the industrial & electronics sector, e.g. machinery, robotics, automation, building technologies, and more.McKinsey is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations achieve sustainable and inclusive growth. Your qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar required
• 2+ years of professional experience in the industrial sector, market research, and/or corporate strategy
• Experience in industrials, building technologies, automation, or related industries is not required but a plus
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
• Ability to accomplish work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Very strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environment, and will colleagues at all levels in an organization
• Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint) and advanced Excel skills; Tableau, Alteryx is not required, but is a plus
