KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carefully perform hand and mechanical bucking of cannabis biomass.
• Accurately weigh and label biomass during organization on racks and storage bins.
• Assist in drying and curing processes as directed.
• Engage in hand and mechanical trimming of cannabis flower.
• Participate in hand and mechanical packaging of cannabis flower.
• Package cannabis flower by weight with precision.
• Assemble and manage primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for all cannabis products.
• Print and apply labels to finished packaged products.
• Conduct light to medium maintenance on automated equipment, including cleaning tasks and preventative maintenance.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize processing, packaging, and labeling equipment.
• Perform data entry and maintain thorough record-keeping for medical cannabis traceability.
• Adhere to site safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and participation in safety meetings as required.
• Fulfill other functions as necessary to ensure adequate supply of products to meet patient demand.
• Conduct counts of packaging and labeling materials.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance process quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a rigorous production schedule to ensure timely and accurate processing of products.
• Follow strict sanitation practices throughout the facility.
• Accept additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Processing to ensure seamless facility operations.

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK

• A High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in order entry, picking, labeling, packaging, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills are essential.
• Previous experience in the medical cannabis industry is advantageous.
• The ability to perform desk-based tasks consistently is required.
• Capability to occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and either sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Effective oral communication skills for interacting with management and coworkers are crucial.
• Normal hearing and vision are necessary for communication and document inspection.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required.
• Good manual dexterity is necessary for the use of common office equipment.
• Comfort with operating and troubleshooting label printing equipment is expected.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
