Cannabis Packaging Technician - Viridian Staffing : Job Details

Job DescriptionViridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a cannabis company about 10 miles north of the Newark, New Jersey, area. Hours start around 6 am, and work days are Monday - Friday. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent opportunity. Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours.
