Cancellation Clerk - Ken Garff Automotive Group : Job Details

Dewey Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive company, is currently looking for a talented Dealership Cancellation Clerk to support our accounting team in processing daily operational transactions and various other aspects of the automotive accounting field. This position will office in the Centralized Accounting Office in Clive, IA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Process warranty / insurance cancellations

• Issue refund checks as needed

• Generate General Journal entries/ post to GL

• Assist customer's and Finance Managers with questions regarding refunds

• Post invoices from insurance companies

• Post credit memos from insurance companies

• Reconcile A/R schedules

• Research unpaid A/R

• Other duties as required

Here's what you'll need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, particularly Excel, and the general use of a computer and calculator

• Must have ability to multitask and must be detail oriented

• Strong numeracy, analytical, time management, verbal, and technology skills

• Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

• Knowledge of accounting software and dealership software a plus
