Job Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Conduct security patrols of all University buildings and grounds. Check doors and windows to ensure they are secured, thereby preventing unauthorized entry. Observe and report all unsafe conditions, such as fire and structural hazards, lighting outages and security violations. Conduct money escorts from various University departments to and from the Bursar's office and ensure that all transactions between different agencies arrive safely. Perform regular tests of essential security systems, such as Emergency call boxes. Demonstrates knowledge through the enforcement of state, local and University regulations. Make written reports of all acts that violate the Student Code of Conduct, complaints, injured persons, and report suspicious circumstances in a timely manner.
