Experienced custodial position dedicated to building maintenance and cleaning. In addition, this position is occasionally responsible for the set-up and tear-down of special events, classroom set up, and event support. This position may also supervise a team of work study students. Education Required High School or equivalent Education Preferred Experience Required None Experience Preferred Skills, Characteristics Required for Position - Ability to read and follow directions - Ability to clean and maintain areas as directed - Ability to communicate effectively with others - Ability to demonstrate respect for others and act as a role-model to students - Basic computer proficiency including the use of campus e-mail system and software programs used to perform job Special Working Conditions Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stoop, kneel and stretch as demanded by cleaning/event set-up tasks.
