Campaign ManagerThe Pennington School seeks a Campaign Manager to join the Advancement Office, reporting to the Director of Development. The Campaign Manager is a key strategic partner in organizing and supporting the School's capital campaign. This role involves close collaboration with the Assistant Head of School for Advancement and Strategic Initiatives, the Head of School, Trustees, and volunteers. The successful candidate will be a proactive, highly organized professional with experience managing campaign logistics and donor engagement processes.The Campaign Manager plays a critical role in overseeing campaign operations, coordinating prospect strategies, producing donor materials, and managing campaign-related data, reports, and events. A strong understanding of Raiser's Edge and capital campaign processes is essential.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Campaign Oversight and Donor Management
- Manage the full campaign infrastructure including tracking donor pipelines, overseeing volunteer assignments, and managing campaign timelines.
- Lead campaign prospect management efforts: organize regular prospect meetings, coordinate strategy, and ensure appropriate follow-up and tracking.
- Implement and maintain a Moves Management process, documenting engagement and solicitation activity in Raiser's Edge.
- Provide donor research and screening using available tools; develop basic prospect profiles to support gift officer strategies.
- Support the preparation of gift proposals, solicitation materials, and donor meeting follow-up.
- Manage campaign gift agreements and ensure accurate documentation of pledges and gifts.
- Coordinate closely with the Director of Donor Engagement to implement stewardship efforts including reports, recognition, and personalized follow-up.
Reporting and Systems
- Maintain comprehensive reports on campaign progress including total gifts/pledges, cash flow projections, and volunteer performance.
- Maintain campaign calendars, documents, and master records in collaboration with Advancement Services and Business Office teams.
- Provide updates and reporting for Board of Trustees and campaign committee meetings.
Event and Volunteer Coordination
- Assist with planning and execution of campaign-specific events in collaboration with Advancement colleagues.
- Provide logistics support for campaign volunteer meetings including scheduling, presentations, and notes.
- Ensure volunteers are equipped with timely information and materials to support their outreach efforts.
Other Responsibilities
- Support advancement communications and campaign materials in collaboration with the Donor Engagement team.
- Attend select conferences or professional development opportunities as approved.
- Assist with other Advancement Office projects or duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of advancement/fundraising experience; capital campaign experience in an educational setting strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and prospect research tools.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite; demonstrated ability to utilize Excel for reporting and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with donors, volunteers, and senior leadership.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive donor and campaign information.
- Independent, self-motivated, and collaborative team player.
This position is a full-time, twelve-month, exempt role based on our 55-acre campus in Pennington, NJ. The role requires occasional evening and weekend availability for School events and meetings. Candidates must be able to walk around campus and up stairs; not all buildings are equipped with elevators.Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter, rsum, and salary requirements at Minimum starting salary of $70,000 annually. The actual offer may exceed the starting rate, commensurate with skills and experience.
