Provides nursing care to patients as directed by the provider utilizing the nursing process. Performs patient access functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS - Exemplifies good customer service. Regular reliable attendance. Effectively communicates and gets along well with others. Demonstrates proficient use of email. Accomplishes goals set for self and by Office Manager. Completes patient care assignments as directed by provider and clinical protocol. Reports significant findings to the provider. Prepares clinic areas for patient care at the beginning of the shift. Secures clinic areas nightly. Proficient in EPIC including retrieving patient records, entering patient data (e-form) and locking record. Greets patients on arrival. Registers and enters patient data into the Health Information system. Scans insurance card information. Admits patients, taking brief history and vitals.
