Camera Operator/Editor - Pensacola Christian College : Job Details

Camera Operator/Editor The Camera Operator/Editor is responsible for the video recording and editing of daily classes at Pensacola Christian Academy for use in Abeka Academy by schools and homeschool students for a quality Christian education. The Operator maintains all recording equipment, follows the outlines recording procedures, and edits the recorded videos.

Assist with Classroom Recording Partner with the classroom teacher to successfully record the necessary instructional material for students to learn. Ensure that all requirements and recording needs are communicated effectively.

Operate and Maintain Equipment Master the techniques of camera and video systems operation to provide smooth, responsive, and close-up camera work to aid the students watching.

Follow Proper Procedures Follow the guidelines for achieving the desired result on videos for each grade and subject. Refer to the video recording manual for all proper procedures.

Assist with Editing Create finished, professionally edited videos to be submitted for production that incorporate the recorded classroom instruction with other necessary elements to make learning interesting and effective.

Education Required Education: College Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree - Education

Work Experience Required Experience: 1+ years in television production and editing
