Overview: Leads and/or participates in projects within one or more functional areas within Default Servicing (Customer Asset Management - CAM) and represents these areas in cross-functional projects involving business partners outside of CAM.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource in a defined CAM area, representing business practices and interests in projects with stakeholders.Collaborate with business partners across various platforms to leverage technology and projects, ensuring inclusive needs are met.Develop and produce reports and analyses related to departmental strategies, workflows, and finances.Conduct analysis, research, and reconciliation to support CAM decisions.Draft and update procedures for CAM areas to maintain currency.Support audits, certifications, and compliance testing.Lead and participate in planning, testing, and implementing new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes.Coordinate with internal and external partners for system support and issue resolution.Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues as needed.Promote an inclusive environment reflecting the M&T Bank brand.Maintain internal controls and address audit or regulatory issues.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Not Applicable.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree with at least 3 years of related experience, or a combination of higher education and work experience totaling at least 5 years, including 3 years in related fields.
- Experience in collections and/or default servicing.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
Preferred: Prior experience in supported functional areas.
The pay range is $24.76 - $41.27 per hour. Compensation depends on experience and skills.
