Job Description :

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Lab team at Precision Calibration Systems team.Our Team of Calibration Technicians is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various measuring devices and instruments across multiple fields. As a Calibration Lab Technician, you will work out of our Winchester, TN office to calibrate various equipment across differing fields. You will be responsible for performing routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate comes from a mechanical or technical background with exposure to calibration procedures. However, experience in our industry is not required and training will be provided upon hire. Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience. Location: On-site at Winchester, TN officeDay to Day Responsibilities: Complete accurate and timely calibrations in our shopPerform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentationPerform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standardsWorking directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to the completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services neededEnsure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standardsMaintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to dateInteract professionally with customers, providing excellent service and supportYou will be successful in this role if you: Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quicklyCan adapt to working with different equipmentAre customer-oriented with excellent communication skills Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitudeHave excellent attention to detailHave a strong work ethicBasic Qualifications:Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of timeDemonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quicklyExperience working in a technical or mechanical positionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent customer service skillsGood organizational and prioritization skillsNice to have:Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experienceKnowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipmentExperience working with Manufacturers Quality SystemsAssociate's degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical FieldsTechnical Degree or CertificateMilitary PMEL Training Metrology experienceExperience with IndySoftAbout Us:Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
