Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

Location: Onsite at Skaneateles Falls Facility

Our client is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to support Commitment to Quality (CTQ) activities at the Skaneateles Falls facility. This role involves hands-on work with laboratory and manufacturing equipment, ensuring precision and compliance through maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Create and maintain equipment files for all calibrated instruments.
• Set up and operate standards and specialized lab equipment.
• Apply formulas to resolve measurement and calibration challenges.
• Support engineers in evaluating plans and procedures to maintain instrument accuracy.
• Serve as a technical resource for metrology-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the metrology function.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of metrology systems and technology.
• Deep understanding of instrument capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Leadership potential and strong interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a calibration lab is strongly preferred.
