CAD Technician - Yonkers Contracting Company : Job Details

Yonkers Contracting is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to join our Bronx River Parkway project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Lay out horizontal alignments and vertical profiles

Create models and drawings for roadways, drainage, bridges, and staging

Provide field layout and work with surveyors

Learn new technology to advance own skill set and group knowledge

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Ideal candidates would have at least 2-3 years of experience in civil construction

AutoCAD proficiency required

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred

Salary Range: $50,000 to $100,000

Physical Demands/Working Conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Work in varying weather and temperatures

Sit and/or stand for extended periods

Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination needed to use a variety of office equipment such as computer, telephones, calculators, copiers, and drafting equipment

Visual acuity to perform drafting, review plans, and perform other essential functions of the job

Occasionally walk on uneven terrain and/or across bridges

May be required to work more than 40 hours a week and/or work irregular hours
