Cable Tech - Technician - Quadrant : Job Details

Technicians AssistantTaos, NM (overnight work) Pay: $20.00 per hourMUST: Experienced Assistant TechnicianMust have go-getter attitudeWilling to learn cable/telecom/ethernet fieldWilling to assist the site lead with many tasksAbility to work in small spaces.Ability to lift 40+ Lbs.Must have reliable transportation.DUTIES: Will assist the site lead with different projects/tasksProvide excellent customer service always.Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure.Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic.Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method.Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards.Ensuring all cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled.Installation of cabling support components such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.Installation IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras, wireless, etc...Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.Troubleshoot device and or cabling issues.Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations.Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
