CONVENIENCE STORE MANAGER

Reports Directly To

Store Director, DM

All Convenience store associates

Major Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Greet and thank every customer
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and friendly environment
• Train and supervise Convenience Store Associates
• Follow merchandising plans based on product movement, demand, and profitability
• Order inventory to control stock levels, minimize out-of-stocks, and maximize sales
• Control shrink due to pricing errors, theft, and spoilage
• Price and date products to ensure quality and rotation
• Order supplies to control expenses
• Establish a cleaning program for display cases, backroom, and coolers
• Complete weekly Purchase Reports
• Meet sales, labor, and profit projections
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security policies
• Follow all governmental laws and health regulations
• Adhere to company policies including dress code and wearing a name tag

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 lbs occasionally, exert 25-60 lbs. force frequently, and 10-20 lbs. constantly. Must have dexterity in both hands, stand, move, lift, carry, push, and pull. Ability to use knives and sharp instruments is required. Must work on floors that may be slippery.
