C/C++ Developer – Payments & Card NetworksIntePros is seeking an experienced C/C++ Developer to join a high-impact Payments Technology team responsible for building and maintaining transaction processing platforms. This role will focus on developing secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that support global payment networks and financial institutions. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in C/C++, has worked with Visa and Mastercard integrations, and understands cloud-based deployment in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain payment processing applications in C/C++ for high-volume transaction systems.
• Implement enhancements and support interfaces with global card networks, including Visa and Mastercard.
• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to migrate legacy systems and services to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ensure compliance with financial standards, including PCI-DSS and EMV specifications.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in production and test environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of transaction systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint planning within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Optimize performance of transaction flows, file processing, and real-time payment services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C/C++ development, preferably in a financial services or payments environment.
• In-depth understanding of electronic payments systems and experience with card scheme integration (Visa, Mastercard).
• Strong understanding of ISO 8583 messaging and real-time transaction processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience working on large-scale systems with a focus on security, availability, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tokenization, fraud detection systems, or network token services.
• Prior work on acquiring, issuing, or switching platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and support tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
