Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Indirect Buyer to support a contract position for one of its Manufacturing customers in the greater Grand Rapids area. This person will be responsible for procurement, indirect buying and managing of customer relationships in the process. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of previous experience as well as a proficient background in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems. They will be responsible for reviewing proposals, negotiating prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, and maintains necessary records.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor Degree or Associates Degree in Supply Chain or Finance

- 4 or more years of previous experience in Supply Chain or Procurement

- ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers

- Strong ability with Microsoft Suite (Excel, ERP systems)

- experience with negotiating and executing contracts, PO's and purchasing procedures
