Job Title: Buyer II

Position Type: Contract

Location:Kent, WA

Salary Range / Rate: $45/hr to $52/hr W2 (USD)

Requirements:

• Tactical purchasing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus
• Avionics/aerospace experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Certifications like APICS, CSCP, or CPM are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement of materials, services, and products to support aerospace programs
• Identify and manage long-lead items with program leads
• Create and manage POs using Coupa and Costpoint systems (training will be provided to learn the tools)
• Manage supplier documentation (T&Cs, NDAs)
• Track, expedite, and adjust purchase orders and schedules
• Collaborate with logistics for timely material delivery
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain discrepancies
• Support continuous improvement across procurement operations
