Job DetailsA global manufacturer with a strong legacy and forward-looking leadership team is seeking a Buyer to join their supply chain team in Iuka, MS. This is a hands-on, tactical procurement role focused on sourcing raw materials for a highly SKU-intensive product line in the water treatment space.The current Buyer has been with the company for over a decade and is retiring in mid-September. The goal is to bring someone on board to facilitate training and knowledge transfer before they exit.This is not a high-volume or senior-level role — it's best suited to someone with 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting who's eager to deepen their skill set, own their category, and play a critical part in daily operations.Key Responsibilities

• Order raw materials and production supplies to support manufacturing schedules
• Manage purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure on-time supply
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support planning activities
• Resolve vendor issues and support improvements in cost, quality, and delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support engineering changes and new product rollouts
• Leverage Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices to drive efficiency

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience
• Strong attention to detail in a high-SKU environment
• Confidence managing supplier relationships and delivery timelines
• ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency
• A proactive, team-first attitude
