Buyer - Magna International : Job Details

The Buyer will purchase materials, supplies, and services by developing, soliciting, and analyzing supplier quotations. Material procurement for series production. Coordinates activities with other departments and suppliers to ensure proper delivery, quality, reliability, and low-cost consistency. Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Resolves conflicts that arise with supplier delivery schedules, raw materials, inventory, etc. Implementation and safeguarding of the global commodity strategy, taking into account plant-specific requirements. Participates in continuous improvement activities. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business or related field including 3 years of automotive purchasing and/or materials experience. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
