We're seeking a Business & Systems Analyst at our Commerce, Georgia location to verify data integrity, enhance banking platforms, and support cross-functional fintech implementations through thoughtful data analysis and system optimization.

Make a difference as a Business & System Analyst

As a Full-Time Data & System Analyst at First Century Bank, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operational efficiency by verifying data integrity, setups, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and enhancing our banking platform's performance, contributing to a seamless customer experience. You will support the implementation of system enhancements aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy, while also developing and maintaining vital workflows and process documentation.

Additionally, you will manage comprehensive system change logs, ensuring that all modifications are tracked accurately. This position not only promises a rewarding challenge but also allows you to innovate within a fun and flexible environment!

  • Analyze and validate data, setups, and KPIs to maintain operational excellence and support strategic decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and improve banking platform performance.
  • Support and implement system enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, process documentation, and system change logs.
  • Provide data insights and recommendations to support projects and process improvements.
  • Manage IT scripting plans, verification, and implementation tracking.
  • Test and verify IT script implementations and system enhancements.
  • Manage and approve BW (Business Workflow) development tickets and programming requests.
  • Monitor origination limits and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant customer portal configurations.
  • Set up and manage user permissions in banking portals.
  • Serve as escalation support for system and data-related issues.
  • Prepare for audits, risk assessments, and support BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) compliance.
  • Manage customer and HOA setups, limits, routing, and rules in banking platforms.
  • Oversee dashboards, scheduled reports, and ad hoc research for business decisions.
  • Provide support for client VLB requests and escalations.
  • Document procedures and train internal teams and customers on banking portals and processes.

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data manipulation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, product management, or business systems analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train others and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and workflow automation tools preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be onsite 1-2 days per week. Local candidates preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects simultaneously across different verticals and departments.
  • A self-starter that can take initiative and is solutions driven.
