Job Summary
The Business Strategy Manager serves as the strategic architect and execution leader, providing comprehensive business strategy development, analytics, and market positioning support to the President to drive exponential business growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives across all core business functions. The Manager will leverage expertise in venture capture and private equity methodologies to identify high-growth opportunities, evaluate strategic partnerships, and optimize organizational performance for scalable the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, business analytics, and market positioning within high-growth technology organizations. The manager will ensure that strategic frameworks are optimized, standardized, and digitized based on professional standards, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive business strategies for exponential growth across all core business functions
- Lead strategic planning processes including market analysis, competitive positioning, and growth opportunity identification
- Creating and maintaining strategic roadmaps that align Business Development, Client Solutions Delivery, Asset Integrity Solutions, Robotics Operations, Product Development, Digital Solutions, and Business Systems functions
- Monitor and analyze strategic performance metrics across all business functions to ensure alignment with growth objectives
- Conduct private equity-style analysis for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments that support exponential growth
- Develop financial models and business cases using private equity frameworks to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation
- The role involves leading market sizing, revenue forecasting, and growth trajectory analysis for new business opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive competitive intelligence analysis to identify market gaps, competitive advantages, and strategic positioning opportunities.
- Leading brand strategy and value proposition development across all business functions to support market expansion and developing pricing strategies and go-to-market plans that optimize revenue growth and market penetration.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, strategic management, finance, economics, or related field with a Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in business strategy, strategic consulting, venture capital, and/or private equity is required, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
- Required experience in venture capture and private equity analysis, including strategic planning, market analysis, and growth strategy development is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry, technology sector, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, Strategic Management certification, or equivalent strategic planning credentials are preferred.
