Business Operations Specialist

EPS Corporation is seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Business Operations Specialist to provide subject matter expertise and operational support to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) in the authorization and accreditation of the U.S. Army Armament Graduate School (AGS) at Picatinny Arsenal. This position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with federal and regional academic accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support to DEVCOM-AC in the authorization and accreditation process of AGS.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain all documentation required to support accreditation and authorization activities.
  • Assist in analyzing accreditation and authorization requirements and preparing responsive documentation.
  • Serve as the lead for compiling and submitting registrar-related documentation to the U.S. Department of Education at least 60 days prior to accreditation submissions.
  • Support Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) accreditation efforts, including submitting registrar-related documentation 60 days prior to MSCHE submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate and facilitate support to site visitors during the accreditation review process and ensure timely follow-up on all requests for additional information.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions led by MSCHE to remain current on regional accreditation policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with MSCHE and Department of Education officials, helping to coordinate and facilitate communication necessary to achieve and maintain accreditation status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with higher education accreditation processes, especially with MSCHE and the U.S. Department of Education, strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with registrar functions and academic recordkeeping best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and documentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience interacting with accrediting bodies or federal education officials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience preparing detailed reports and official submissions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; eligibility for a security clearance may be required.
