Business Operations Manager

The Sei Development Foundation is looking for a Business Operations Manager to work across functions identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and driving execution on our some of our most important initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments and enjoys building systems that drive clarity, efficiency, and alignment across an organization.

You'll have broad impact on internal ops processes, compliance policies, executive reporting, and cross-functional work. This is a high-leverage role with significant ability to shape how the Foundation operates as we grow. Responsibilities
  • Strategic Operations

    • Identify and eliminate organizational inefficiencies

    • Anticipate organizational needs and implement solutions before challenges arise

    • Own operational workflows including procurement, payment, internal policy compliance, and automations

    • Deliver executive-level reporting and status updates to keep strategic objectives on track and clearly communicated

  • Cross-Functional Excellence

    • Build frameworks and processes that increase scale and efficiency

    • Serve as the key operational liaison between departments, ensuring consistency and clear communication

    • Cultivate strong relationships and influence stakeholders to drive alignment and measurable results

What We're Looking For
  • Experience & Skills

    • 5+ years in business operations, strategy, investment banking, consulting, or related field with a proven track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments

    • Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated ability to execute multiple priorities simultaneously

    • Experience with data-driven decision-making and strategic analysis tools that drive organizational improvements

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

  • Leadership & Communication

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be direct/concise and influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams

    • Experience building and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships at all organizational levels

  • Mindset & Approach

    • Strategic problem solver who can also roll up their sleeves and execute at the operational level

    • Fast learner, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities in a dynamic startup environment

    • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process optimization

Nice to Haves
  • Experience at early-stage tech startups or other high-growth environments

  • Background in the Web3/blockchain space with genuine passion for decentralized technology

  • Familiarity with crypto industry dynamics and regulatory landscape
