Business Operations Analyst – Pricing & Valuation - The Hartford Financial Services Group : Job Details

Develop and maintain internal valuation models for hard to value investments including private placement bonds, direct middle market loans, commercial mortgage loans, private equity, and derivatives. Oversight of HIMCOs daily and monthly price exception review processes. Coordinate HIMCOs price challenge processes with pricing vendors. Produce daily, monthly, and quarterly valuation reporting for internal and external clients. Investigate and respond to client ad-hoc pricing and valuation requests. Continuously look for ways to improve and optimize workflows. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? BS/ BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline. Enrollment in the CFA Program a plus. 5 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations, Investment Middle Office, or related roles. Familiarity with fixed income and equity asset classes. Highly proficient in MS Excel. Experience with relational databases, querying languages, VBA, and report automation is a plus.
