Our Operations Data Analyst is responsible for providing support to various operations support teams. (currently Fleet & Safety) This position will use a variety of data sources to provide analysis, robust financial modeling, and guidance to the leadership team to facilitate strategic decision making. Deliverables may include behavioral safety analysis, trend analysis, and cost/benefit analysis to assist in evaluating vendor and business unit performance. Other responsibilities include benchmarking, ad-hoc analysis, periodic reporting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Capability to learn and apply continuous improvement tools for current state analytics and assessment are necessary as well as identification of best practices through quantifiable data analytics.

Responsibilities:

You Will...

  • Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI metrics to track business performance. (Examples include fleet leasing, maintenance, resale, tolls, violations, registrations, vehicle administration, safety and other areas as assigned)
  • Collaborate with vendors, home office departments, and field operations teams to provide actionable, data driven metrics to make decisions. Proactively provide cost/benefit decision analysis
  • Develop monthly operations scorecards to measure vendor performance as well as Division, Region, and Branch performance management
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Divisions, Finance, Operations and Risk Management
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelors degree required, Finance/Logistics majors preferred
  • 3 years if related experience including strong data analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills are a must
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI/Tableau required. Advanced knowledge of MS Office software, especially advanced Excel skills
  • Basic accounting and finance skills
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to summarize and articulate data in an easily digestible format for executive leadership
  • Must be organized and work well in a team environment

  • Candidate must reside or willing to relocate to the metro Atlanta area.
