• Ensure the technology environment aligns with the strategic direction of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and meets the needs of the Department of Transportation.
• Meet with leadership to understand goals and objectives, and assess how current and proposed technology supports these goals.
• Review technology proposals for potential risks and impact on business objectives.
• Utilize resource and demand management, business intelligence, and data management tools.
• Coordinate multiple large or cross-functional projects with significant impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business staff, providing strategic support and guidance for IT initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of professional experience; experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Minimum of seven years of IT and business experience across various technical environments.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Understanding of program and project management, state IT requirements, and related rules.
• Experience managing teams in strategic planning, infrastructure, or operational support within the public sector.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting. Actual pay may vary based on various factors.
