This is a full-time, base plus commission position. As members of the Freedom Energy team, they will enhance the sales process and strategies while consistently leading the team and positively impacting those around them. The BDS will report to the person above them in the company organization chart, currently the Business Development Manager. This is a base plus qualified appointment set bonus position.Career Path: Business Development Specialist can look for growth opportunities in the Sales, Business Development, and Lead Generation Departments. Roles include Business Development Manager, Lead Generation Manager, Director of Business Development or Lead Generation, Energy Advisor, and Senior Energy Advisor I-III.Job Responsibilities:Provide qualified leads and schedule confirmed appointments with decision makers for the sales team.Make 45-60 calls per day to prospective clients to build a pipeline of prospects seeking business energy solutions.Schedule 5-10 meetings per week with potential clients.Sort and organize sales accounts and track leads on CRM system.Own operational procedures and utilize best practices in support of all lead generation tools and campaign initiatives.Generate leads using database tools and marketing techniques and making calls to identify targets.Engage and interact with new prospective and senior level decision makers to identify new and emerging business opportunities in energy consulting services.Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create highly targeted lists in support of achieving goals.Identify key decision-making targets and qualify opportunities for selling services to generate business and increase profitability.Embrace the benefits of our energy procurement, risk management and renewable energy solutions and services and speak positively and enthusiastically to promote them.Provide management with various reports on campaigns.Enjoy collaborating with a great team focused on sustainable solutions!Perform other related duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, comfortable with Excel and client management software.Previous track record of success to include over achievement of quota/goals.Previous experience cold calling/telemarketing and leading development.Demonstrated ability to create and manage a pipeline of prospects to execute on sales strategy.Experience selling a solution and not just a product.Extreme attention to details necessary.100% honesty and integrity.Entrepreneurial & self-motivated.Strong work ethics, positive attitude.Must enjoy working within a high energy team environment.Must have a valid driver's license and insurance and be able to drive to clients if appropriate.Ideal Qualifications:Bachelor's or associate Degree preferred.Direct experience in energy consulting services or related energy sector.Experience with and/or knowledge of Salesforce.Experience with and/or knowledge of HubSpot and ZoomInfo.About Freedom Energy: Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Auburn, NH, Freedom Energy is a private company that specializes in comprehensive energy portfolio management and renewable energy solutions, helping businesses and organizations achieve energy and sustainability objectives.
