A day in the life will include:

  • Lead: Identifying and targeting potential clients in the clean energy and climate sectors seeking to hire.
  • Client Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Sales: Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and negotiating contracts.
  • Job Orders: Collaborating with internal teams to secure hiring needs in climate, climate/tech, and clean energy.
  • Market Awareness: Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to position the company as a leader.
  • Communication: Utilizing provided tools such as our ATS (Crelate), LinkedIn, and Office365 suite, along with phone communication, to work effectively within our distributed team.
  • Qualifications:

    • Experience: 3+ years in business development within the climate, clean energy, or environmental sectors, with a proven ability to bring in clients ready to hire.
    • Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing job orders and growing business in related industries, with a self-motivated, winning attitude.
    • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of renewable energy, sustainability, and climate change solutions.
    • Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, or related fields. A BS degree is not required; we value smart, motivated, ethical individuals.
