Vulcan Metals Specialty Products Inc., formerly known as Luxfer Graphic Arts, is seeking a Business Development Manager. Luxfer Holdings PLC divested its Graphic Arts business to Vulcan Metals on July 2, 2025. Vulcan Metals specializes in highly engineered, large, complex, mission-critical steel castings used in various industrial applications. Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers in metals such as Titanium, Aluminum, Zirconium, and others. The role involves collaborating with marketing, sales, and product development teams to execute business initiatives. The ideal candidate should be creative, proactive, and able to leverage experience and judgment to achieve goals.

Compensation:

Base salary of $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, plus phone and car allowances, and potential yearly bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research industry trends and identify new ideas and opportunities.
  • Propose potential business deals by contacting partners and exploring opportunities.
  • Analyze market strategies and financials to evaluate deals and make recommendations.
  • Negotiate and close new business deals, including contract development and review.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through education, publications, and networking.
  • Support sales planning and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with account managers and develop customer relationships.
  • Develop strategies for new products and services based on business needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and seminars.
  • Conduct market research and prepare business reports.
