Business Development Leader - AdvancedAI/ML Technology - Job Description

Yash Technologies is seeking a dynamic, innovative,and results-oriented Business Development Leader for Americas AI/ML business,with a strong background in cutting-edge AI/ML technology. As BusinessDevelopment Leader for the AI Service Line focusing on AI/ML, you will beprimarily responsible to drive revenue growth, maximize sales pipeline, andincrease win rates for advanced AI/ML solutions and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands and aligns with the overall Global AI SL strategy.
  • Work with the YA regional BDL/Alliance teams to establish flow down revenue-based goals and objectives for the AI Service Line focusing on AI/ML across YA.
  • Continuously develop new revenue streams specifically related to advanced AI/ML solutions, including but not limited to Generative AI, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Predictive Analytics, MS Co-Pilot and future new AI technologies that will guarantee the achievement of the flow-down goals and objectives.
  • Envision and (re)launch AI/ML services in the YA geography in collaboration with other Digital Service Lines.
  • Plan and execute Go To Market (GTM) campaigns focused on AI/ML offerings in collaboration with Regional Business Development Leaders and other support functions.
  • Plan and execute Go To Customer (GTC) campaigns for AI/ML solutions in collaboration with Account Management Leaders and other support functions.
  • Plan and execute Go To Alliance (GTA) campaigns focusing on AI/ML partnerships in collaboration with Alliance Leaders and other support functions.
  • Work in lockstep with AI Service Line and other Service Line leaders & their teams to ensure that the lead-to-closure pursuit (and beyond) cycles for AI/ML opportunities are run in a competitively differentiated manner.
  • Enhance the YASH brand in the OEM ecosystem by providing technical leadership in AI/ML and ability to influence customer decisions to buy, architect, and adopt AI/ML solutions.
  • Be the face of YASH for AI/ML at major AI events in YA geography.
  • Strengthen the AI Service Line by:
  • Recommending other partnerships that enhance the reach of AI services.
  • Recommending solutions/offerings for AI/ML based on regional trends (Industry/Customer/Alliance/Analyst)

Core Skills and Qualifications

  • Should have experience in a similar business development role.
  • Understanding of AI/ML Concepts: A foundational knowledge of what AI and ML are, including key concepts like machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and predictive analytics, is crucial. One should be able to explain these concepts in a clear and understandable way to potential clients.
  • Familiarity with AI Technologies and Tools: Knowing about specific AI technologies and tools, such as AWS/Azure AI/ML services, Generative AI models, chatbots, virtual assistants, and MLOps platforms, is important for discussing solutions with clients.
  • Data Literacy and Analytics: The ability to understand and interpret data is vital, as AI solutions are data-driven. This includes understanding big data analytics and how AI leverages data to provide insights.
  • Understanding of Cloud Services: As many AI solutions are cloud-based, knowledge of cloud computing and platforms like Azure is beneficial.
  • Industry-Specific AI Use Cases: One should understand how AI is being applied in different industries to identify relevant solutions for clients\' specific pain points.
  • Excellent communication skills, an attitude to get things done and willingness to work in a high growth environment.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs related to AI/ML.
  • Willing to travel – as much required.
  • 15+ years of building strategic business partnerships through selling or consulting with enterprise customers.
  • Equally considered will be 2+ years of experience driving transformation, with a focus on AI/ML.
  • Active user of AI technologies in daily digital life
