Job Overview: Our transportation client is seeking to add a Business Development Director to their team. The ideal candidate will develop strategic plans to attract new customers, strengthen relationships, and increase revenue and profitability. This role focuses on their dedicated service offering.

This is a Direct Hire role.

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with the solution design team, relationship managers, and service owners to develop tailored client solutions.
• Lead and prepare contract negotiations for new business opportunities.
• Conduct follow-ups on lead generation through sales calls.
• Validate deals and maintain ongoing customer interactions.
• Ensure timely account management and effective use of CRM systems.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of six years of sales experience.
• Experience in the transportation industry, especially with dedicated assets.
• Proven prospecting skills with a focus on dedicated business.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
