Senior Business Development Director – eDiscovery

Location: NYC (Hybrid)

Package: $150,000 base + 8% commission on all new business (OTE 2x+ base)

Do you want to bill across eDiscovery and Information Governance and transition into the Head of US sales as the team grows?

I'm exclusively representing a high-performing, independent LegalTech company that's quietly become a trusted partner to some of the world's largest enterprises across eDiscovery, compliance, and information governance.

This is a pivotal, ground-up hire - you'll be the first new business salesperson in the US, helping build a team that will scale from 0 to 15 over the next three years. The company is 20 years old with a strong delivery infrastructure in place (account management, PMs, consultants), so you'll be well supported from day one.

It's a blank canvas - no red tape, no legacy baggage, no geographical barriers to sales

I've been working directly with the CRO, and he's looking for a high-performing sales professional who:

• Has a strong track record in eDiscovery and LegalTech sales
• Thrives in a hands-on individual contributor role
• Wants the opportunity to step into a Player/Manager role and eventually lead the US sales function
• Or, if you prefer to stay focused on billing - can carve out a lucrative career path purely based on performance

There's an immediate opportunity to drive revenue and build out your territory, and the path to seniority and leadership is clear and well-supported. You'll have direct access to both CRO and the CEO, who are deeply involved with the sales team and highly incentivised to reward early success.
