Business Developer Job Summary: Results-driven Sales - Business Development Specialist to identify, target, and secure new doctor clients within the medical industry. This role requires a proactive approach to hunting for new business opportunities and converting them into successful sales and clients.

Key Responsibilities: - Identify and Target New Clients: Conduct market research to identify potential doctor clients and medical practices that can benefit from our products and services.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to reach and engage new doctor clients. Tailor approaches to meet the specific needs of different medical professionals.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, attending medical conferences, and leveraging professional relationships.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Highlight the unique value propositions and benefits of NextMed offerings.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new doctor clients. Act as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their practice.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with clients. Ensure contracts and agreements are aligned with company policies and profitability targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other sales professionals, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and high client satisfaction.
- Market Feedback: Provide feedback to the company on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to help shape future product offerings and sales strategies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets. Regularly report on sales performance and pipeline status to management.
Qualifications: - Experience: 1-3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in healthcare sales is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness for heavy travel to meet with clients and attend industry events. One can expect 3-4 nights a week / 3-4 weeks a month on the road with occasional weekend travel as needed.
- Sales Skills: Proven accomplishments of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the medical industry, including knowledge of different medical specialties, healthcare regulations, and the competitive landscape.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex medical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with medical professionals.
- Financial Skills: Must possess the ability to read, analyze and present financial statements to support data-driven decision making and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Technology Competence: Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Pay: - Competitive base salary + an UNCAPPED commission structure
- Annual Base Salary Range (does not include commission): $70,000 - $75,000
- OTE to be $100,000 - $125,000
- *Overall uncapped commission plan can be $150K+ in year 2 and beyond
