Job Title: Business Analyst – RPA (UiPath)

Location: Waukesha, WI (Onsite – Closest large market: Milwaukee, WI)

Salary Range: $50/hour MAX | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire | No Sponsorship Available

Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 2–5 years of experience, preferably in an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) environment. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level candidate to join a small, agile team managing a growing portfolio of automation initiatives. If you're passionate about automation, problem-solving, and process improvement—and want to work closely with a collaborative team supporting 30+ active automations—this role is for you.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of Business Analyst Automation/RPA experience
  • 2–5 years working with RPA tools (heavy emphasis on UiPath; open to Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft Power Platform)
  • Experience creating Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
  • Experience writing user stories in Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO) and participating in scrum ceremonies
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Understanding of integration methods and data governance principles
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of APIs and agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to serve as liaison between business stakeholders and development teams
  • Previous experience providing end-user support and training
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for RPA initiatives
  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and process improvements
  • Develop detailed PDDs, SDDs, and user stories to guide development
  • Partner with RPA developers and IT teams to implement and validate solutions
  • Participate in testing to ensure solutions meet business expectations
  • Support project delivery by addressing blockers and maintaining timelines
  • Train and support users on new automation tools and processes
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement strategies
