Are you a strategic thinker who can transform data into actionable insights and drive impactful business decisions? We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven Business Analyst to join our Branch Operations team and help enhance operational efficiency and the overall Member experience. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, scoping of business requirements, and tracking/reporting on project tasks. This is a highly collaborative role, working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIESThis is an on-site position located in Westminster, CA.

  • Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to business processes for greater efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with project documentation, including project plans, change requests, and test plans.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and document issues for resolution.
  • Support project managers in resource planning, timeline tracking, and milestone delivery.
  • Work closely with vendors and consultants to manage deliverables and integrations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Credit Union systems and services, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Provide training materials and assist with department cross-training initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience on business or technology projects, ideally in financial services, banking, or credit unions.
  • Familiarity with project planning methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheets).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

PAY RANGE In accordance with California's Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this position is between: $30.91 - $38.64 Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate's specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law. Note: As part of our screening process, LBS Financial conducts background investigations on candidates who are extended an offer and who agree and authorize us to do so.
