Role Overview The Asset Servicing Associate will act as a subject matter expert in Corporate Actions for Brokerage Wealth Management. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring timeliness, quality, and accuracy in corporate action announcements and the resolution of any related discrepancies. You will support Financial Advisors, their teams, and internal stakeholders by offering clear explanations of complex processes, performing reconciliations, mitigating risk, and contributing to service excellence across Equity and Fixed Income products. Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Corporate Actions announcements and events (Mandatory, Voluntary, Income, Class Actions, Proxy Voting)
- Reconcile and resolve residual differences in event processing
- Provide phone and case management support to internal and external clients
- Perform risk analysis and mitigation for servicing functions
- Assist in process improvement initiatives and document current workflows
- Compile and distribute management and regulatory reports
- Clearly communicate complex processes across teams, including senior leadership
- Take full ownership of individual tasks while collaborating cross-functionally
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal/client service expertise using telephony and collaboration technologies
- Strong critical thinking and independent problem-solving ability
- Proven experience ensuring data integrity and validation (detecting anomalies or risk)
- Understanding of process drivers and risk within operational workflows
- Awareness of client impact and a proactive approach to solutions
- Demonstrated efficiency, accountability, and teamwork in hybrid/remote settings
- Capable of contributing to problem resolution and process enhancement
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with basic financial principles
- Prior experience supporting Corporate Actions or Financial Advisors
- Analytical mindset with knowledge of systems dependencies and downstream impact
