About the Role

At AstraZeneca, we're revolutionizing antibody discovery by reducing the time to discover a clinical candidate using advanced technology and AI. We are building the Biologics Discovery Platform within R&D IT and seek a Business Analyst to operate strategically on large-scale business changes with high complexity and risk. The role involves partnering with scientists, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver quality business cases and process designs, ensuring compliance and standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently across all stages of business analysis, taking initiative and ownership.
• Collaborate with biologics discovery scientists, Product Owners, and the Product Lead.
• Develop business cases and process designs that meet AstraZeneca's standards.
• Implement process and requirements management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 6+ years' experience with complex integrated systems, preferably in molecular biology and antibody discovery.
• Experience with business analysis tools and techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting workshops, and managing diverse stakeholder needs.
• Experience working virtually and managing third-party vendors.
• Ability to manage high-risk situations with innovative solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in life sciences or related field, with formal business analysis certification.
• Lean SIGMA training.
• Experience in a global organization and in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of User-Centered Design and business domain knowledge.

Additional Information

This role offers a competitive salary range of $119,879 to $179,818, with benefits including retirement plans, health coverage, paid leave, and bonuses. AstraZeneca promotes a flexible work environment with a minimum of three days in-office work per week.
