Building Utility Engineer I (Boiler Operator) - Cook Children's Health Care System : Job Details

The Building Utility Engineer I will operate, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair equipment controls on equipment, utility and distribution systems. Included but not limited to domestic water, steam, chilled/hot water systems, HVAC, electrical distribution systems, emergency power systems, vertical lift systems, medical gas and vacuum systems, pneumatic tube systems and building automation. Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GED w/ 8 years. Technical or College considered in place of Years of Experience. Work toward obtaining expert status on at least two systems and obtain State License in related field preferred. Skilled in Healthcare/ Commercial Maintenance, Building Automation, Plumbing, Electrical, Emergency Power systems and Computer knowledge. Troubleshoot problems and make needed repairs as needed of system and equipment. Pneumatic tube system, Medical Gas, Building Automation and AutoCAD experience preferred.
