The position's duties include, but are not limited to:* Acting as primary liaison between contractors and K-State Salina* Attending all pre-construction, construction, and post-construction meetings* Inspecting job sites daily and being present for all testing, inspections, crane operations, etc.* Keeping project manager informed of any potential quality issues or delays* Reviewing building specification and design standards to ensure they accurately reflect the college's standards/intent* Tracking and ensuring all submittals are completed on a timely basis* Assisting financial manager with maintaining financial accounting for projects* Primary backup for fixed asset inventory managementAbout UsKansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus is located in Salina, Kansas - a town of approximately 50,000 in close proximity to two major highways, and 65 miles west of K-State's main campus in Manhattan.
