Job Summary:

The BAS / Controls Senior Project Manager provides technical and project leadership to plan, schedule, and execute building automation and software integration projects across healthcare, industrial, commercial, and mission-critical sectors. You will work with design engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure proper operation and acceptance of automation solutions. This role involves leading complex projects, coordinating activities, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

Manage all elements of routine and complex projects, including proposal review, project initiation, resource planning, scheduling, meetings, and technical deliverables.

Monitor and control project financials, including budgets, profitability, and risk management.

Oversee administrative tasks such as reporting, contract reviews, and resource management.

Requirements:

Position requires advanced knowledge and experience in:

• Project management software (MS Project, Procore)
• Open-source protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP)
• Controls platforms (Niagara AX/4, Honeywell, Distech)
• IoT and smart building solutions
• Networking (IP, VLANs, VPNs)
• Construction and project management principles
• MS Office Suite and organizational skills
• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies
• Remote work capability with strong communication skills
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Safety compliance and effective communication
• Teamwork and independent work skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Certification in NFPA70E and OSHA as required

Physical Demands:

Frequently manipulate tools, remain stationary, move through various environments, descend/ascend stairs, and occasionally move equipment up to 50 pounds.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 10% travel within the US, including client sites and industry events.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related field, or two years of additional experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of eight years in building automation systems/controls, with at least two in project management.
