BMS Controls - HVAC Controls- Building Management Systems-Applications Engineer

Our client is based and works in New Jersey, specializing in HVAC and Building Automation Systems Controls (BAS) is actively looking to add a BAS Programmer. This role will program and configure building automation systems (BAS), specifically for HVAC, lighting, security, and other building systems to optimize performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications Experience:

• Two (2) or more years Building Automation (BAS)/ BMS HVAC controls programming experience
• Program and configure DDC controllers
• Ability to read construction blueprints/documents
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building automation principles, and control systems
• Experience effectively communicating with end users and providing customer training
• Johnson Controls BMS Software and Tool experience a plus: Metasys, Facility Explorer, Verasys, System Configuration Tool, Controller Configuration Tool (CCT), EasyIO, OpenBlue Enterprise Manager
• Familiarity with communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and LON for integrating different building systems
