Job DetailsA leading Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced Building Automation Specialist to support a high-profile pharmaceutical site in the Warren, NJ area. This is a hands-on role focused on the operation, programming, and maintenance of Siemens BAS systems in a GMP-regulated environment.We're looking for a technician who not only understands the technology but also thrives in critical facility environments where system uptime, compliance, and precision are essential.________________________________________Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens Building Automation Systems (e.g., Apogee, Desigo) in a GMP-regulated facility.
• Perform day-to-day operations, system monitoring, and reactive/preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate and execute BAS upgrades, database backups, and software/firmware updates.
• Interface with client stakeholders, facilities teams, and contractors to resolve issues and implement changes.
• Review control sequences, tune PID loops, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Support system documentation updates, change controls, and compliance with validation requirements.
• Respond to alarms and ensure proper resolution while maintaining data integrity and audit trails.

________________________________________Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on BAS/DDC controls experience, specifically with Siemens systems (e.g., Desigo, Apogee).
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, control strategies, and networking.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, control drawings, and schematics.
• Experience with field tools, commissioning software, and standard communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
• Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
