Integration Engineer – Building Automation (Niagara N4 Certified)

Location: Hawthorne, NY

Experience Level: 5+ years

Industry: Building Automation / Smart Buildings / HVAC Controls

About the Role

You will be responsible for deploying, integrating, and optimizing advanced building management systems (BMS) across commercial and industrial environments.

You will work on the integration of third-party systems such as HVAC equipment, VFDs, and energy meters into BMS platforms using open protocols like BACnet, Lonworks, and Modbus.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, configure, and commission Niagara N4 building automation systems.
• Integrate third-party equipment such as chillers, boilers, VFDs, AHUs, VRF systems etc.
• Configure and troubleshoot device and system-level network communication (IP addressing, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Serve as the subject matter expert for integration challenges across multiple job sites in South Hudson Valley

Required Qualifications

• Niagara N4 Certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, deploying, commissioning building management systems.
• Strong working knowledge of communication protocols: BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks.
• Proven experience integrating third-party vendor systems (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Trane, ABB, Siemens).
• Networking background experience
