Budget Analyst III - Montana State University : Job Details

The Budget Analyst III is a member of the University Budget Office and reports to the Non-Academic Team Lead. This role collaborates with department decision makers, Fiscal Shared Service (FSS) partners, and Human Resources business partners to manage and execute financial operations across the division. Using data-driven analysis, this individual will provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making and optimize the use of multiple finding sources. As a critical part of the financial planning process, the Budget Analyst III will actively engage in all budget processes, ensuring unit alignment with guidelines and deadlines. In addition, this role will support the onboarding and ongoing financial training in Business Operation Managers (BOM) roles within the unit.
