Brood Specialist Delhi - Foster Farms : Job Details

Job Description

Pay Rate: $29.80 per hour

• Analyze and repair brood maintenance malfunctions.
• Work from blueprints/schematics to perform maintenance/repair or install equipment.
• Report materials (in writing) replacement parts needed for jobs.
• Direct/instruct subordinate employees still requiring training.
• Determine proper size and specifications and perform electrical maintenance on miscellaneous items such as wire, conduit, fuses, motors, switchers, panels, lighting, relays, control devices, etc.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance repairs/corrections on pumps, motors, foggers, heaters, feed systems, vaporizers, injectors, etc.
• Perform installations, connections, adjustments, and calibrations of electrical gauges, meters, etc. troubleshoot computerized equipment controllers such as programmable, temperature, process controllers, etc.
• General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required, maintaining safety, housekeeping, and sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 4 years ranch/poultry maintenance experience.
• Must have a maintain a California Driver's License and an acceptable DMV record.
• Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work from a ladder.
• Must be able to take after hour calls and be on-call for job assignments as necessary dependent on the live poultry needs.
• Must be able to give direction, lead and train other lower-level mechanics.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
