This position offers an excellent career opportunity for a structural engineer with bridge inspector experience to lead bridge and culvert projects in all stages, including inspection, reporting, and developing repair strategies. You will lead a team, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality project delivery.

• Perform and supervise bridge inspections according to industry standards
• Prepare reports, load ratings, and assist in developing repair strategies
• Lead and mentor inspection team members
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and agencies for inspections
• Review structural drawings and oversee field construction
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Engage with clients and stakeholders

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 4 years' experience in bridge inspections
• Massachusetts PE license preferred
• Completion of FHWA-NHI-130055 training
• Experience with structural design, load ratings, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with physical capability for fieldwork

• Additional FHWA/NHI training, SPRAT certification, experience with MassDOT systems, and willingness to travel outside Massachusetts
