Position Summary

The Asset Manager is a key member of the Servicing team that is responsible for the Servicing, Asset Management and Risk Management of a $2+ billion Commercial Real Estate Bridge Loan Portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis for loans in the portfolio (e.g. collect financial data, analyze/normalize financial statements and rent rolls, and identify potential problem loans).

  • Monitor the execution of the underwritten Business Plan and Exit Strategy for an assigned portfolio of bridge loans.

  • Manage certain group processes such as quarterly OSAR delivery to CLO Master Servicers and quarterly Warehouse Line Covenant Testing.

  • Review and analyze Borrower consent requests including Management Changes, Lease Approval Requests and Easements among other items and provide recommendation to Stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly Asset Management reports to Senior Management and key Stakeholders.

  • Review Reserve Draws related to Capital Improvement/Renovation/Construction Projects and provide funding recommendation to Internal and External Stakeholder's.

  • Schedule and perform Property Inspections and maintain related data on company systems.

  • Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required.

  • 2+ years of experience in Real Estate Asset Management, Servicing or similar field preferred.

  • Coursework in Commercial Real Estate a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong, developed communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong work ethic to meet the daily challenges of a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform functions requiring critical, independent thinking.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively multitask and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate finance and the ability to review and analyze financial statements.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products with a strong emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook.

The team will also consider internal candidates from other servicing hubs – Charlotte, Overland Park, and Atlanta.

This position has an estimated base salary of $ 75,000 - $ 85,000 plus discretionary bonus . An employment offer is based on the applicant's relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
