Our client is seeking a dynamic, creative, and strategic Brand Director to lead marketing, product development, content, social media, and commercial initiatives that maximize brand visibility, drive sales, and foster customer engagement across Walmart, U.S. Chain Drug, Specialty Retail, Big Box Retailers, international markets, Amazon, and brand-specific e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in content creation, social programs, trade marketing, pricing, promotions, and point-of-sale (POS) strategies, along with strong execution skills and a deep understanding of the consumer goods industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive demand, and achieve sales targets aligned with company and license objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver trade marketing programs that optimize product placement, promotions, and pricing strategies across all retail channels.
- Partner with the license to coordinate brand initiatives and align content, social, PR, and events with brand identity and market trends.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to identify market opportunities, develop compelling sales collateral, and support key account management across all channels.
- Drive new product launches and capsule collections, ensuring alignment with brand values, marketing support, and net sales goals.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activity to guide strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage marketing budgets, track ROI, and adapt strategies to maximize impact and resource efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with license partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure collaboration and success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience with expertise in trade marketing, POS strategies, content, and social media marketing.
- Proven ability to deliver successful marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a creative and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
